A boil water notice issued June 22 has been lifted effective immediately at the following addresses:
- 2000 Trimmier Road
- 1005 to 1413 Illinois Avenue
- 1206, 1300 to 1413 and 1501 Missouri Avenue
- 1906 Estelle Avenue
- 1300 to 1413 and 1500 Arkansas Avenue
Scheduled replacement of a water line valve interrupted service necessitating a boil water order
Water quality tests have been completed, and the water is safe to drink and use without boiling.
TCEQ Required Notice:
The Texas Commission on Environmental Quality the City of Killeen public water system to issue a Boil Water Notice June 19, 2020 and effective June 22, 2020 to inform customers, individuals, or employees that due to conditions which occurred recently in the public water system, the water from this public water system was required to be boiled prior to use for drinking water or human consumption purposes.
The City of Killeen public water system has taken the necessary corrective actions to restore the quality of the water distributed by this public water system used for drinking water or human consumption purposes and has provided TCEQ with laboratory test results that indicate that the water no longer requires boiling prior to use as of June 27, 2020 at 6 p.m.
