KILLEEN, Texas (Aug. 13, 2025) – The City of Killeen will be performing milling and overlay on Monday, August 18 – Friday, August 22, weather permitting.
The roads being worked on are:
- Old Florence Road, from Elms Road to East Stan Schlueter Loop
- Bacon Ranch Road/Little Nolan Road, from Trimmier Road to W.S. Young Drive
Work includes completing asphalt overlay and milling services, which will result in various lane closures throughout the day. Entire road closures may also occur during this project.
There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices and consider an alternate route during street maintenance. It is very important that all vehicles obey the traffic control devices for the safety of the citizens and employees.
