KILLEEN, Texas (August 1, 2025) – The City of Killeen's Public Works Transportation Division will be performing roadway maintenance on Mandalay Dr., at the intersection of Tropicana Dr. beginning Tuesday, Aug. 5 at 7:00 am, through Friday, August 15 at 3:30 p.m. This will result in the partial roadway closure of Mandalay Drive at the intersection.
The maintenance is for the installation of a drainage system.
There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices, and consider an alternate route during the installation. It is very important that all vehicles obey the traffic control devices for the safety of the citizens and employees. All schedules are based on weather and may be changed.
