KILLEEN, Texas (Aug. 20, 2025) – The City of Killeen will be performing milling and overlay on Westcliff Road from 60th Street to East Rancier Avenue starting Monday, August 25 through Friday, August 29, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
Work in front of Hay Branch Elementary should not begin until after school is in session each day.
Work includes completing asphalt overlay and milling services, which will result in various lane closures throughout the day. Entire road closures may also occur during this project.
There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices and consider an alternate route during street maintenance. It is very important that all vehicles obey the traffic control devices for the safety of the citizens and employees.
