KILLEEN, Texas (Dec. 17, 2025) – The City of Killeen’s Engineering Division will be closing the southbound lane of Dimple Street from Avenue J to Avenue K starting Tuesday, Dec. 16 through Wednesday, Dec. 17, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The closure is to allow a private contractor to install a new water main in the area.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and guide traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
