Killeen Solid Waste Collection Delayed Due to Weather Conditions

KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 25, 2026) – Due to hazardous road conditions and continued winter weather expected through Monday, Jan. 26, the City of Killeen Solid Waste Department will delay Monday and Tuesday residential solid waste collection routes by one day.

Monday routes scheduled for Jan. 26 will be serviced Tuesday, Jan. 27, with a possible late start depending on road and weather conditions. Tuesday routes scheduled for Jan. 27 will be collected Wednesday, Jan. 28. Thursday and Friday routes will operate on their regular schedules.

The city will continue to monitor weather and road conditions and will provide updates if additional changes are necessary.
