City of Killeen Aquatics is recruiting to fill dozens of positions at its pools for the summer swim season. Students ages 16 and older can gain valuable work experience and earn money while on school break.
Each year, the City must expand its staff to open the Family Aquatics Center at Lions Club Park and Long Branch Pool. Summer hire positions include lifeguards, water safety instructors, cashiers and supervisors with pay ranging from $7.25 to $11.50 per hour.
The pool season, tentatively set to open in June, coincides with the Killeen Independent School District school year calendar. Employee work hours are flexible.
A full list of summer hire positions, qualifications and responsibilities is available at KilleenTexas.gov/Jobs. Applications are accepted online.
