KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 27, 2026) – The City of Killeen Parks and Recreation Department announced that all recreation facilities, the First National Bank Texas Family Recreation Center, including gyms, leagues and other scheduled Parks and Recreation activities will close today at 8 p.m.
The First National Bank of Texas Family Recreation Center, is scheduled to reopen tomorrow, Jan. 28, at their regular opening time of 5 a.m.
The early closure is being implemented due to ongoing weather conditions. City officials encourage residents to exercise caution and check the city’s website or social media channels for updates regarding facility operations.
