The Turkey Trot 5K will be held Nov 2 at 8 a.m. at Stonetree Golf Club. The race is part of the Centex Race Series, which holds races throughout the year across Central Texas including nine in Killeen.
Entry fee for the race is $30 and a link to register can be found at KilleenTexas.gov/Centex. Participants can register online until Oct. 29 or in person on race day. The 5K helps raise funds for the Food Care Center in Killeen. The Food Care Center provides food to over 2000 people per week; 50% of these are children.
