Program offering up to $20,000 in 50% matching incentives for approved repairs for property owners
KILLEEN, Texas (June 13, 2024) – The City of Killeen is accepting applications for the North Killeen Revitalization Area Sewer Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Incentive Program, for small sanitary sewer projects.
The North Killeen Revitalization Area Sewer Rehabilitation and Redevelopment Incentive Program helps with replacing and installing:
- Sewer laterals
- Clean-outs
- Grease interceptors
- Back-flow prevention devices
The City of Killeen will issue a 50% matching incentive to install, maintain, and repair private sewer improvements in an amount up to $20,000 for qualifying projects.
To qualify, the applicant must be a commercial property owner or completing an infill development project within the North Killeen Revitalization Area; must submit an application (view PDF) to the City; must not be delinquent in paying property taxes for any property owned by the owner/developer or applicant; must not have any City liens filed against any property owned by the applicant property owner/developer or must have initiated a payment program with the City of Killeen to include a 25% down payment against liens owed and payment schedule set.
