KILLEEN, Texas (May 3, 2024) – The City of Killeen’s Department of Public Works’ Transportation Division will begin milling and overlay services on WS Young Drive from Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 17 from 7a.m. – 7p.m. The work will be completed from Illinois Avenue to Veterans Memorial Boulevard (Business 190), weather permitting.
Various or entire road closures are possible and can occur during repairs, as required for safety of staff. Roads will be open to those who reside in those locations only.
There will be a series of traffic control devices and detours in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices and utilize detours during street maintenance. All schedules are based on weather and subject to change.
