The Texas Department of Transportation (TXDot) and the City of Killeen’s Engineering Division are seeking public input of the Rancier Avenue Improvements Project.
The two entities held a public meeting on March 21 to discuss proposed improvements to Rancier Avenue.
The proposed improvements include construction of medians, turn lanes, and reduced through lanes. Bike lanes, on-street parking, and continuous sidewalks are also proposed along the length of Rancier Avenue.
The link to public input can be found at www.KilleenTexas.gov/Engineering. There is also an 11-minute narrated video about the plan and more project information once citizens visit that link.
For more information, call TXDOT at (254) 867-2700 or the City of Killeen’s Engineering office at (254)-616-3172.
