KILLEEN, Texas (Dec. 14, 2023) – The City of Killeen is pleased to announce the winners of the 60th annual Christmas Parade, held Saturday, Dec. 9 in Historic Downtown.
The Christmas parade winners are:
Best Non-Profit Entry Saint Joseph Catholic Church
Best Commercial Entry Bill’s Towing and Storage
Best Entertaining Group Xplosive Dance Company Killeen
Most Lit Winner Smile Doctors Orthodontics
Fruitcake Winner Mid Texas Corvette Club
Tin Soldier Award Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.
Santa’s Elves Buzz Lightning Baseball Academy
The parade drew over 70 participants and saw entries awarded in seven categories by a panel of five judges. The judges were Bell County Commissioner Louie Minor, 2024 Miss American United Miss Texas Kendra Hicks, Killeen Assistant City Manager Laurie Wilson, U.S. Army Veteran and active community member Nelson Santiago, and lifelong Killeen resident and Killeen ISD employee and parade judge Wayne Moore.
