KILLEEN, Texas (November 6 13, 2023) – The City of Killeen’s Transportation Division Public will be having a new mast and pole installed at the intersection of Rosewood and Central Texas Expressway on Tuesday, November 7, beginning at 9:30 a.m., weather permitting.
The contractor will be removing the existing mast and pole and replace them then reinstall the mast. While performing this work, the contractor will need to shut down the eastbound direction of Central Texas Expressway temporarily while they remove the mast arm and during the reinstallation of the mast arm.
Work should be completed by late afternoon.
There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around the work zone and closure. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices, and utilize alternative routes as possible.
