KILLEEN, Texas (Nov. 2, 2023) – The Killeen Municipal Court has announced it is once again offering warrant forgiveness beginning Dec. 1 through the end of the month.
Citizens with outstanding warrants can go to the courthouse without fear of being arrested and all warrant fees will be waived.
Judge Kris Krishna initiated the program last year and it was met with great success as 61 citizens cleared 109 warrants with a total value of $58,418.98
The program is a part of the Safe Harbor program, where residents can resolve their outstanding cases. Some citizens were also eligible for alternatives, like community service or a reduction in their fine, based on ability to pay.
