WCID#1 held a press conference at 2p.m. today. (Video link below) Here are the updates:
*Customers are still asked to boil water and reduce usage by 50%.
*WCID: Current Status:
-Samples are being collected, or have been collected, from WCID's delivery system and will be delivered to the Waco Environmental lab for testing.
-Disinfectant residual is also being monitored in WCID's delivery system.
-Another treatment train is being filled and will be in service soon allowing WCID's flow to increase to about 60 million gallons per day.
*This notice affects all cities WCID services, including Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove, Belton, Nolanville and the Fort Hood Military Reservation. This notice affects all residents AND businesses.
