KILLEEN, Texas (April 12, 2022) – The City of Killeen’s trash collections will run on an amended schedule for Good Friday.
The City of Killeen Offices will be closed Friday, April 15, therefore there will be no collection services on Good Friday. Thursday and Friday routes scheduled that week will run a day early. (For example, Thursday’s route will run on Wednesday and Friday’s route will run on Thursday).
All solid waste facilities and the Recycling Center will be closed Friday. The Transfer Station will be open from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will return to normal business hours Saturday, April 16.
The Family Recreation Center will be open 5:00am-5:00pm on April 15 and closed Sunday, April 17. All other facilities are closed April 15.
