KILLEEN, Texas (Jan. 15, 2025) – The City of Killeen’s Communications and Marketing Department is proud to announce the launch of K-Beat, a new digital magazine-style publication designed to keep residents and visitors informed about what is happening in Killeen.
This monthly publication highlights important updates, upcoming events and inspiring stories. It offers readers another fresh and engaging way to stay connected.
“K-Beat reflects the pulse of our city— its progress, people and vibrant community,” Janell J. Lewis Ford, Executive Director of Communications and Marketing, said. “We want K-Beat to be a reliable and exciting resource for our residents and visitors.”
The inaugural issue, themed, “New Year, New Beat,” is available now and features a wide range of content.
Residents may access K-Beat online through an interactive flipbook at www.killeentexas.gov/communications, as well as a PDF version. Additional issues of K-Beat are set to release on the first Tuesday of each month.
The City continues to also releases a monthly “City Insight” newsletter that is a placed in utility bills of residents who receive hard-copy billing versions. Those begin to be distributed on the 10th of each month and are only available through the water bills.
