KILLEEN, Texas (Dec. 9, 2024) – The City of Killeen’s Water and Sewer Division will be closing both eastbound lanes of West Rancier Avenue 710 West Rancier Avenue to 719 West Rancier Avenue at intersection of North Gilmer Street. The closure will be on Dec. 10 from 7:30a.m – 2p.m., weather permitting.
The closure is for the installation of a new water service tap at 719 West Rancier Avenue.
A section of the westbound lane (one lane) will be diverted to an eastbound lane to accommodate citizens traveling in that direction.
Water and Sewer crews will have a traffic detour andcontrol plan in place and will guide traffic around the work area. Residents and motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution, obey traffic control devices and seek and alternate route if possible.
