Burlington Northern Santa Fe Railroad in cooperation with The City of Killeen’ Public Works transportation department will close the railroad crossings at 2nd Street and 4th Street from Wednesday, May 21 at 7 a.m. through Wednesday, May 22 at 6 p.m., weather permitting.
This closure is so BNSF crews can make repairs to the crossings.
During this work, motorists can expect traffic delays. There will be a series of traffic control devices in place to guide motor vehicles around any closures. Motorists are encouraged to use caution, obey traffic control devices, and use an alternate route.
