KILLEEN, Texas (Feb. 9, 2024) – The closure of the south intersection of South 2nd Street and West Veterans Memorial Boulevard has been extended. The original dates were from Feb. 6 - Feb. 9 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The closure will now restart on Monday, Feb. 12 – Wednesday, Feb. 15, weather permitting.
The closure is so a contractor can install water services.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and detour traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
