Killeen, TX (November 9, 2023) – Killeen Parks & Recreation will host the second annual Half Mara-Fun, scheduled to take place on Saturday, Dec. 16 at 8 a.m. The race will be at the Heritage Oaks Hike & Bike Trail located at 8001 Pyrite Drive. This is the final race in the Centex Race Series where “half the distance equals double the fun.”
Participants are encouraged to preregister before Dec. 4. The preregistration entry fee is $75, and t-shirts guaranteed for the first 200 registered runners. Preregistration may be completed online at www.killeentexas.gov/centex. On the day of the race, same-day registration will be available starting at 7 a.m., offering a last-minute opportunity for those eager to join the race.
