Location change due to inclement weather; hayrides, crafts and vendors will still be available for free
KILLEEN, Texas (Oct. 24, 2023) – The City of Killeen’s Parks and Recreation department is changing the location of its third annual Fall Festival to the Killeen Special Events Center (3301 South W S Young Drive) due to inclement weather that is forecasted. The event is this Saturday, Oct. 28 from 5-9 p.m. and is free to the public.
The Fall Festival will still feature hayrides, a pumpkin patch, candy, vendors and food trucks. The usual haunted mansion will now be a haunted maze, all decorated by the City’s Youth Advisory Commission.
The Killeen Police Department is also hosting the 4th annual Drive-thru Trunk or Treat on Oct. 28 from 6-8p.m. at the KPD headquarters (3304 Community Boulevard) and the City of Killeen is recommending door-to-door Trick-or-Treating be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 6-8p.m.
