KILLEEN, Texas (May 19, 2023) – The City of Killeen’s Family Aquatic Center (1800 East Stan Schlueter Loop) will be open Memorial Day weekend, then again on June 6 through Labor Day weekend, September 4.
The FAC is a ten thousand square foot multi-use water park, with three water slides, a diving board, rock wall, splash pad, picnic tables, shade structures and more.
The Family Aquatic Center will open this holiday weekend. The hours will be:
- Friday, May 26: 11a.m. – 5p.m.
- Saturday, May 27: 10a.m. - 6:30p.m.
- Sunday, May 28: 1p.m. - 6:30p.m.
- Monday, May 29: 11a.m. - 5p.m.
The Family Aquatic Center will reopen for the full summer season on June 6 and run through Labor Day. Hours of operation will be:
- Sunday: 1p.m. – 6:30p.m.
- Saturday: 10a.m. - 6:30p.m.
- Thursday-Friday: 11a.m. – 5 p.m.
- Mondays: Closed
Day pass rates this year will be:
- $8 for adults (17-54)
- $7 for youth (4-16)
- $2 for children (0-2)
- $5 for seniors (55 and up)
Season pass rates for this year are:
- Youth (4-16): $75
- Adult (17-54): $100
- Senior (55+): $75
- Family (2 adults, 2 children): $175
The Junior Service League of Killeen Spray Pad at Long Branch Park will be open Friday, May 26 at 8:30 a.m. We hope to open Long Branch Pool this summer and will announce if and when we’re able to do so.
