2. Volunteers have talents to share and a vision to help make a huge difference in Downtown Killeen. Each day, volunteers make a lasting impact in the lives of others within our community.

   There are many opportunities to get involved and help make Downtown Killeen a great place to explore! The City invites volunteers to serve in one-time event assignments and longer-term, ongoing opportunities.

   All volunteers must be 16 years or older unless otherwise noted. Volunteers under the age of 16 must be accompanied by a parent or adult. Volunteering with us is easy! Just fill out the online application and we will be in touch.

   Once your application has been received, a staff member will review it and contact you with additional information. If the volunteer is determined to be a good fit, you will receive information about our volunteer onboarding process, which includes a background check.
