KILLEEN, Texas (September 5, 2025) – It’s never too late to start moving, especially for seniors. Staying active as we age is essential for both physical and mental well-being, contributing to a longer, more independent life.
The Lions Club Park Senior Center invites senior residents to join its weekly Senior Zumba classes with Rosa, carefully crafted to improve fitness, encourage social interaction, and enhance overall health. These lively sessions take place every Tuesday and Thursday at 9 a.m. in the Lions Park Family Recreation Center Gym (1700 E Stan Schlueter Loop), all within a fun and supportive atmosphere.
“Zumba is more than just a dance; it creates a sense of community and promotes a healthy lifestyle,” said Kathryn Winston, manager of the Lions Club Park Senior Center. “Our Senior Zumba classes are perfect for anyone eager to enhance their fitness, meet new friends, and enjoy themselves.”
The Senior Zumba classes focus on low-impact movements that enhance flexibility, balance, and coordination, making them an ideal choice for older adults. Led by certified instructors experienced in working with seniors, each class features easy-to-follow choreography set to energetic music, ensuring a delightful experience for everyone involved.
