Notice of Public Hearing (September 16, 2025)

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing is scheduled to be held by the City Council, City of Killeen, at 3:00 p.m., on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, in Council Chambers at City Hall, 101 North College Street, to consider the following:

Hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance submitted by Charles Amundson on behalf Terry Blake Bearden (Case# Z25-26) to rezone approximately 1.26 acres out of a 2.15-acre tract in the T. Robinett Survey, Abstract No. 686, from “R-1” (Single-Family Residential District) to “B-5” (Business District). The subject property is locally addressed as 3309 Old Farm-to-Market-440, Killeen, Texas.

Hold a public hearing and consider amendments to the City of Killeen Thoroughfare Plan.

Hold a public hearing and consider an ordinance amending the Killeen Code of Ordinances, Chapter 31 - Establishing Commercial Site Development Permit Process.
