KILLEEN, Texas (Oct. 21, 2025) – The annual Central Texas Veterans Day Parade is set to take place on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. in the historic downtown area of Killeen. This annual event honors all who have served in the military, celebrating the invaluable contributions of veterans from every branch.
Prior to the parade, at 10:45 a.m., the Department of Veterans Affairs will recognize Killeen as a regional site for the Veterans Day celebration, presenting a certificate of recognition to Mayor Debbie Nash-King.
The event is proudly sponsored by the Central Texas Area Veterans Advisory Committee (AVAC), which comprises representatives from various veteran organizations across Nolanville, Harker Heights, and Killeen.
Community members are invited to join in this celebration, with parade entries being accepted until Monday, November 10. There is no registration fee. To apply to participate in the parade, please visit www.centex-avac.org.
The parade will begin at West Avenue D, adjacent to City Hall, proceeding from North College Street along West Avenue D to 8th Street, then continuing to Sprott Street and Gray Street. The procession will conclude by returning down Gray Street to Avenue C and finishing at North College Street. To ensure the best parking and viewing experiences, spectators are encouraged to arrive early.
