KILLEEN, Texas (Aug. 12, 2025) – The westbound lane of Wheeler Avenue at the intersection of Meadow Drive will be guided by flaggers and traffic control devices starting Wednesday, August 13 through Friday, August 15, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm each day, weather permitting.
The closure is for Atmos energy work being performed in the area. Sidewalks may also be closed during this work.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan to guide traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
