The City of Killeen’s Family Aquatic Center waterpark (1800 East Stan Schlueter Loop) and Long Branch Pool (1101 Branch Drive) will open this weekend, before beginning regular summer operations on May 31.
Memorial Day Weekend hours are:
Family Aquatic Center:
- Saturday, May 24: 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday, May 25: 1 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day): 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Long Branch Park Pool:
- Saturday, May 24 and Sunday, May 25: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day): 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
Both facilities will be closed from May 27 to May 30 to support Stage 4 water conservation efforts.
Starting May 31 the hours will be:
Family Aquatic Center:
- Tuesday – Friday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Sunday: 1 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Monday: Closed (except Memorial Day and Labor Day)
Long Branch Pool (1101 Branch Drive):
- Tuesday – Sunday: 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
- Monday: Closed (except Memorial Day and Labor Day)
The Junior Service League Spray Pad at Long Branch Park will be open May 31 and is open daily from 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.

The Junior Service League Spray Pad is free.
Both the Family Aquatic Center and Long Branch Pool will transition to weekends only starting August 16 through Labor Day weekend.
