City of Killeen Announces Completion of System Upgrade

All services and applications including utility billing are restored.

KILLEEN, Texas (Nov. 20, 2025) – The City of Killeen has successfully completed its planned data migration and system upgrade conducted on Wednesday, Nov. 19, between 6 p.m. and midnight.

All online services, phone and automated payment options, and applications that handle customer data—including utility billing, Click2Gov and Selectron—have been fully restored and are operating normally.

The upgrade was performed during non-peak hours to reduce service interruptions and is part of the City’s ongoing efforts to enhance system performance, strengthen data security and improve service reliability for residents.

The City thanks the community for its patience during this process. Updates and future notices will continue to be shared on the City’s website and social media pages. Residents are encouraged to sign up for the City’s alert system to receive service updates directly by email or text message. To register, visit killeentexas.gov/notifyme.
