KILLEEN, Texas (January 12, 2026) – The City of Killeen Engineer Department will be closing Viola Drive from Zayden Drive to State Highway 195 to through traffic on Tuesday, January 13 and Wednesday, January 14, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The closure is for the installation of a new watermain.
The contractor will have a traffic control plan in place and guide traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
