KILLEEN, Texas (Nov. 26, 2025) – The City of Killeen is notifying residents that Dimple Street from Avenue K to Bremser Drive remains closed today after a tree fell onto communication lines Tuesday evening.
Crews responded immediately and secured the area; however, specialized technical experts are needed to safely remove and repair the impacted lines. The earliest they are expected to arrive is today, and the roadway will remain closed until the work is finished.
Residents and motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes. The City will provide another update once the roadway is safe to reopen.
