KILLEEN, Texas (Sept 5, 2025) – The Killeen Public Library will host its annual Maker Day on Saturday, September 13, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Killeen Civic and Conference Center. This free event welcomes individuals of all ages, promoting lifelong learning and hands-on creativity.
Participants can enjoy a range of crafting activities for both children and adults, with all necessary supplies provided. Everything created can be taken home, enhancing a sense of accomplishment.
Additionally, there will be an area for signing up for library cards, ensuring access to the library's extensive resources. Maker Day will also feature a designated space for recycling books, magazines, and newspapers, encouraging sustainability within the community.
Food trucks will be on-site throughout the event, so patrons can enjoy lunch and refreshments without having to leave the festivities. Additionally, voter registration will be available for eligible attendees who wish to register or update their voting information.
