KILLEEN, Texas (Sept. 2, 2025) – The City of Killeen Animal Services Department has once again partnered with PetcoLove to provide free vaccinations for Killeen area pets on Monday, Sept. 29, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the Killeen Special Events Center (3301 South WS Young Drive).
The clinic will operate in a drive-through format, and vaccines will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. To ensure the safety of pets and people, all attending pets must be on a leash or in a pet safe carrier.
The vaccines are made possible through PetcoLove’s national vaccination initiative.
“Our collaboration with PetcoLove has been an invaluable game-changer for pet families in our community,” said Amanda Moore, Killeen Animal Services Director. “We love to see firsthand how many more pets get the protection they need with these free vaccines. Every vaccination clinic we host reinforces why this partnership matters — healthier pets mean stronger families, and that's what drives everything we do.”
Vaccines distributed at this event will be Rabies, DAPPv Canine, and HCP Feline vaccines. These vaccines aim to prevent parvovirus and distemper in dogs and panleukopenia in cats, the most prevalent deadly diseases affecting pets.
Due to the high demand and popularity of these free clinics, participants should expect longer wait times.
