KILLEEN, Texas (July 14, 2025) – The City of Killeen Department of Engineering will be closing the outside eastbound lane on West Rancier Avenue from Monday, July 21, to Friday, July 25, weather permitting, as part of the Gilmer Street Reconstruction.
The work includes connecting the new 6” waterline being installed on Gilmer Street to the existing line on West Rancier Avenue.
The contractor will be installing traffic control devices and signage around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
