The City of Killeen will hold its annual Red, White & Blue Music Festival on Saturday, July 5, in Historic Downtown Killeen.
This event, which will last from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at 200 East Avenue D, will feature live music, food trucks, the Nyle Maxwell Jeep Jam, the H-E-B fun zone, arts and craft vendors, and one of the largest fireworks shows in Central Texas at 9:30 p.m.
Singer Ray Lowe will take the stage from 6:35 p.m. to 6:50 p.m. The Darius Jackson Band will follow, performing from 7-8 p.m., and the headliner, 1st Cavalry Band, will perform from 8:20 p.m. to 9:20 p.m.
There will be plenty of parking around the festival area. Please do not park on the railroad tracks.
In order to prepare for the festival and firework show, the Killeen Athletic Complex parking lot, the athletic fields, volleyball court and part of the walking trail will close on July 4 at noon. Mickey's Dog Park, and the Rotary Park playground will close on July 5 at noon. All facilities will reopen on July 6 at 5 a.m.
