The City of Killeen Department of Engineering will be closing the intersection at 8th Street and Collins Avenue on Thursday, May 8, and Friday May 9, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, weather permitting.
The closure is so a contractor can perform work in the area..
The contractor will have a traffic control plan in detour traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
