The City of Killeen’s Department of Engineering will be closing the eastbound lane of Chaparral Road between Tumbleweed Drive and Whippoorwill Road, starting Wednesday, April 9 through Friday, April 11, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, weather permitting.
The closure is to upgrade a water main.
A series of traffic control devices will be in place to guide traffic around the work area. Motorists should anticipate delays and are asked to use caution and obey traffic control devices.
