Motown Downtown | Last Saturday in February

This annual tribute festival offers a nostalgic feeling of the golden era of Motown, complete with funky rhythms and grooves. This event features a classic car show, best-dressed competition and live entertainment.  

2026 Motown Downtown will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 4 to 8 p.m. in downtown Killeen.

Craw Fest | Last Saturday in March

Get ready to crack, peel, and enjoy — Craw Fest is coming to Downtown Killeen for the very first time! This brand-new festival will bring bold flavors, lively entertainment, and a fun, family-friendly atmosphere to the heart of the city. Guests can enjoy delicious crawfish, local vendors, live music, food trucks, kid fun zone, and cheer on competitors during the Battle of the Bands. 
Join us for the exciting new event on Saturday, March 28, from 12 to 6 p.m. in downtown Killeen.

Vendors, Crawfish Vendors, and custom cars and hotrods registration is NOW OPEN until Saturday, March 7.

For over 40 years the city has come together to celebrate with cultural entertainment, food from all over the world, a step show, poetry slams and the largest car show in the city.

Holiday Under the Stars | December

The event begins the first Friday of December with our Tree Lighting Ceremony in Downtown, followed by a Jingle Bell Dash 5K on the first Saturday of December (hosted by our Parks and Recreation department). On the second Saturday of December, the streets of Downtown come alive with the annual Christmas Parade and Festival of Holidays.

While signed releases may be used by the City when there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, they are not used at our public meetings, open houses, public activities or volunteer events. As a participant, please note that video of you and your photograph may be taken.
