Public can get input from recreation staff.
The City of Killeen’s Recreation Department will hold its quarterly Town Hall meeting on Wednesday, June 22 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Lions Club Senior Center (1700 E. Stan Schlueter Loop).
These quarterly town hall meetings are an opportunity for the public to meet the staff, learn and ask our Recreation Services team questions.
Recreation Services town halls have focused on specific programs, such as the Dog Park, Disc Golf, Skate Park, and Youth Sports. This quarter’s meeting will be focused on the Family Recreation Center survey results, the progress of park improvements, and grow zones.
The next quarterly town hall will be Wednesday, Sept. 22.
If you are unable to attend, the town hall presentations will be posted on our website at www.killeentexas.gov/rec.
