Passed by Killeen City Council in August 2022, Killeen 2040 is a comprehensive plan that the City of Killeen will use to shape our growth and evolution over the next two decades in ways that reflect how the community wants to grow.

Community input during the Killeen 2040 planning process revealed that Killeen residents want their city to keep growing, but not at the expense of quality of life. Instead, they want growth to contribute to moving our city forward- especially on the six big ideas.
