Animal Servicesaccepts volunteers with all levels of skill and ability to help with the animals. Volunteers can help groom/bath dogs, clean living spaces, fold and wash dishes, litter boxes, laundry, greet visitors, take photos, assist as a handler, greeter and adoption assistant. Public Works is asking for any individuals or organizations who can help keep our business areas and roadways clean. Curbside Cleanup volunteers will pick up litter and beautify green spaces to promote environmental stewardship while working toward a cleaner, brighter Killeen.
Smile! We use video and photography to capture engagement of residents with our programs, public meetings and services. We strive to be transparent when we are filming, livestreaming or taking photos at public meetings, city events and programs.
While signed releases may be used by the City when there is a reasonable expectation of privacy, they are not used at our public meetings, open houses, public activities or volunteer events. As a participant, please note that video of you and your photograph may be taken.
