Provides effective and efficient leadership and operational management to the Building Services, Custodial Services, Fleet Services, Printing Services, and Purchasing divisions. Establishes vision and objectives for Support Services divisions, and assists the Assistant City Manager - Internal Services in achieving organizational goals.
Provides routine, breakdown, and emergency maintenance for over 50 City owned or leased primary buildings. Manages the consolidated maintenance budgets for all major funds and the Killeen Civic & Conference Center. Monitors pest control, alarm, HVAC, and elevator contracts.
Custodial Services Division
Maintains 37 City facilities encompassing over 360,000 square-feet. Provides floor/carpet care, general cleaning and removal of trash and recyclable materials. Assists with safety and security measures.
Fleet Services Division
Provides maintenance and recovery operations and fueling services to over 1,000 City vehicles and pieces of equipment. Prepares specifications and assessments, coordinates leasing and preventive maintenance, maintains loaner vehicles, and processes inter-departmental charges for fuel and repairs.
Printing Services Division
Produces printing and graphic products for the City Council and staff. Determines the cost effectiveness of outsourcing versus in-house printing and facilitates contracting jobs.
Purchasing Division
Reviews purchasing procedures and provides an effective and consistent means of procurement that is in compliance with all State of Texas and local laws and regulations. Assists City Council and staff by providing the tools to secure best-value supplies and services. Prepares required procurement documents. Makes recommendations on formal bids and requests for proposals. Assists City departments with disposal of surplus or salvage property.
