FY 2014-2015 Grants for the Arts
(For events to be held between October 1, 2014 through September 30, 2015)
Non-profit organizations interested in applying for an Arts Commission grant must attend one of the following mandatory Grant Application Workshops, which will be held in council chambers at Killeen City Hall:
Friday, March 14, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
Friday, April 11, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
Failure to attend one of these workshops will disqualify the application for funding. Grant applications will be sent out to those who complete an information card at the workshop. Grant applications must be completed and returned to the Finance Department no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014. For more information, call (254) 501-7730.
On March 13, 1990, the Killeen City Council established the Arts Commission. The Arts Commission is responsible for the development of community resource to support the Arts and multi-cultural enrichment programs in Killeen. The Commission is also responsible for the development of tourism and the convention and hotel industry through the use of Cultural Arts grants under Texas Tax Code, Chapter 351.
