Non-Profit organizations interested in applying for an Arts Commission Grant must attend one of the following mandatory Grant Application Workshops which will be held in Council Chambers at Killeen City Hall:
Friday, March 8, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m. | Friday, April 12, 2013 @ 10:00 a.m.
Failure to attend one of these workshops will disqualify the application for funding. Grant applications will be sent out to those who complete an information card at the workshop. Applications must be completed and returned to the City of Killeen Finance Department no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26, 2013. For more information call (254) 501-7733.

On March 13, 1990, the Killeen City Council established the Arts Commission. The Arts Commission is responsible for the development of community resource to support the Arts and multi-cultural enrichment programs in Killeen. The Commission is also responsible for the development of tourism and the convention and hotel industry through the use of Cultural Arts grants under Texas Tax Code, Chapter 351.
