Killeen Volunteer Corps is offering free training for individuals interested in volunteering. The next session of Volunteer Training 101 is Saturday, June 15, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Killeen Volunteer Center (2201 E. Veterans Memorial Blvd.). The Killeen Volunteers, Inc. board is organized for charitable, educational, and scientific purposes benefiting and accomplishing a public purpose of the City of Killeen.

DUTIES
The duties of the Killeen Volunteers, Inc. board is to mobilize people and resources to address community needs and enhance quality of life through volunteerism. It is also the duty of this board to oversee its six program committees, which are comprised of:
