Special Free Collection of
Excess Christmas Garbage & Rubbish
in Killeen Residential Areas
On the first scheduled garbage collection day
after Christmas Day, the excess garbage/rubbish that accumulates during the holidays
may be placed in plastic bags no larger than 33 gallons,
or boxes not greater in volume than 8 cubic feet, and placed on curb for pickup by 7 a.m..
This special collection will occur during the period of
Dec. 27th through Jan. 1st
on your regularly scheduled garbage collection day.
Place the bags/boxes at curbside no later than 7am on your first scheduled collection day after Christmas.
Place the bags/boxes at least 4 feet away from your roll-out container.
There shall be no charge for this service.
This special free service does not apply
to other collections such as appliances,
furniture, and other large bulky items.
