Killeen City Council unanimously appointed Glenn Morrison city manager at a meeting June 26.
Morrison had been serving as interim city manager since March 2011.
“It is a true honor to be given the opportunity to serve as city manager,” says Morrison. “I am so proud of our city, and I look forward to working with the mayor, city council, and city staff to provide the very best services to the citizens of Killeen.”
Morrison began his career with the City of Killeen in 1988 and has served as assistant city manager, community services director, director of parks and recreation, and recreation superintendent.
Morrison is a lifelong Killeenite. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University. He is a member of the Killeen ISD Education Foundation, the Rotary Club of Killeen, and the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce and serves on the Association of the United States Army Board of Governors.
